HIV: Hey It's Viral is an LGBT-inclusive 20 minute video explaining to young people what HIV is, how it's transmitted and how it can be prevented. Howard Brown is a partner agency with United Way of Metropolitan Chicago and they have collaborated with Beyond Media and About Face Youth Theatre to create a unique partnership with exciting results. We would like to not only share what agencies we support are up to, but also give them the opportunity to reach a wider audience.
Special note: United Pride, host of this event, is the first ever employee resource group formed within the United Way of America and United Way of Metropolitan Chicago. The United Way is officially introducing United Pride in September and this Citywide Pride event will be United Pride's inaugural event.
